Your dog, collar, leash and current Rabies vaccination records.
+Why do I need to show vaccinations if I am doing everything myself?

We use a temp that keeps your dog safe. We can adjust warmer or cooler if needed.
+Will I get wet?
It’s possible, but we provide an apron to help keep you dry.

Grooming FAQs

+What is the FURminator®?
It is a shed-less/ anti-shedding treatment that improves the appearance of your pet by reducing about ½ of the hair your pet sheds. Designed for both long and short-haired breeds. Within two or more treatments, the FURminator has been proven to reduce shedding approximately 60 percent. There is no treatment that will effectively stop an animal from shedding, this is the next best thing!
+Why does my dog have to be kept separately after grooming?
We want your dog to remain clean until you pick him/her up.
+Can my dog socialize with other dogs throughout the day?
You can decide if you want your dog to mingle with others or remain alone. Either way, your dog will have a chance to be active in the outdoor run while being supervised. At Pet Laundry, we have your animal's health and comfort in mind at all time.
+Can I wait for my dog to be groomed?
You can, but grooming is a process that takes time. it is not the best thing for your pet to see you while being groomed. Just like with children, pets tend to behave different in your presence, and it brings an extra level of unnecessary stress to your pet while the groomer is working with them. We want your pet to be comfortable and solely focused on the groomer. If you prefer to hang out in your car or in the neighborhood, you can certainly do that but it does not change the process or timing of when your dog is completed.
+How will my dog be dried?
Pet Laundry uses hand-held, forced-air dryers which do not have heaters on them. We also use cage dryers with room temperature forced air for finishing.
+What is the difference between a cage dryer and a cabinet dryer?
Because dogs don't have sweat glands like humans, they can overheat. If your pet is scared and/or aggressive towards hand held dryers we will use a cage dryer. Cage dryers either hang on the side of a cage or have hoses attached to the cage and forces the air directly at your pet. Cabinet dryers is an enclosed unit that allows the dog to sit on a raised grate and room-temperature air (not heated) is gently forced under the pet, towards the side and is recirculated over the pet's head.

+What vaccinations are required for doggie day care and boarding?
Current Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper.

Dogs get dirty, and so do their beds, blankets, jackets, toys and squeezy things. We wash, dry, brush and bag your items and return it to you clean and fresh. So that your dog is not left without a bed, ask about our loaner bed exchange...while we have your dogs bed, you can use one of ours (if available). This is a drop off and pickup later service. We generally have a 24 hour turnaround, however, if you drop off in the morning we can possibly have your items ready by the end of the day.

  • $9 to wash and dry each large dog bed
  • $10 to wash and dry each load of misc. pet laundry
  • Free delivery within 3 miles.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Laundry service is paid when you drop off. Why? Because we often deliver laundry; and for safety, we do NOT want the driver to deal with money at your front door.
